the rhodes family {palm beach, fl}

I have such a special session to share with you this evening. We go way back with Jake and Kristin. In fact, Jake was a groomsman in our wedding 6 years ago and one of the first people my husband met at PBA. Not too long after, Kristin came along. Let me tell you, these two are made for each other. I loved spending this beautiful evening with them and their handsome son, Caleb!

  • Larianne - Such a beautiful family. I love that black & white portrait, and the sunset images are breath-taking.ReplyCancel

  • Catherine - What an incredible bunch of images! This highlights your work so well. And I totally want the mom’s dress!ReplyCancel

  • Roy - So many terrific images! You can feel the communication, trust, and connection that you have with this young one! I really love the third one down from the top (you are down on his level and he is looking straight at you). Great timing on the shot to capture his thought process taking place. This is a great series of images that tells a story of this young family. Love the ‘reading’ shots and the last couple of silhouette images. I like the textures of your backgrounds and the composition and look of the black and white by ‘the tree’! The way that you treat the backgrounds in relation to your subjects compliments the expression and ‘feeling’ of the family. It’s one thing to throw a background out of focus to separate/feature your subjects but you seem to be able to do that and still make the backgrounds work to enhance and connect the character of the people in the photo and their environment. Great shoot, Becky!ReplyCancel
